Cepea, 25/08/2025 – A Cepea survey shows that, even amid the harvest, carioca bean prices have been rebounding. According to the Center, the support comes from the firm stance of growers who have the financial means to store their crop. In addition, there is greater demand for better-quality lots. For black beans, however, Cepea observes falling prices, pressured by the supply surplus during this off-season period. Conab data show that, as of the 18th, harvesting totaled just over 72% of the area in Minas Gerais, signaling yield declines, which, in turn, are linked to whitefly infestations.
