Cepea, 18/12/2024 – Cecafé data analyzed by Cepea show that Brazilian coffee exports in the first five months of the 2024/25 season (July/24 to November/24) total 22 million 60 kg bags (arabica and robusta). This volume corresponds to nearly half of what was shipped in the entire previous season (2023/24), which saw record shipments, in the Cecafé historical series, of 47,3 million bags. According to Cepea researchers, the excellent performance so far this season is due to a combination of low global supply, firm foreign demand and a stronger dollar against the Real. Source: Cepea (www.cepea.esalq.usp.br)
