Cepea, 25/11/2024 – The upward trend in corn prices seen since August was interrupted over the past week in part of the regions tracked by Cepea. According to the Center, the pressure came from weaker buyer interest. On the sellers' side, Cepea researchers explain that many producers, especially those in the state of São Paulo, are staying out of the market, focused on the progress of the summer crop, which continues to be favored by the weather in most regions. Planting of the 2024/25 summer crop is advancing and nearing completion in the South of the country. Source: Cepea (www.cepea.esalq.usp.br)
