Cepea, 21/07/2025 – Firm demand for soybeans for crushing has been supporting domestic and external grain prices. Cepea researchers note, however, that the rise in oilseed prices ends up being limited by high global supply – according to this month's USDA report, world soybean production is expected to rise from 421,99 million tonnes in the 2024/25 season to 427,68 million tonnes in the 2025/26 crop, a new record. In Brazil, in the partial figures for this month (through the 17th), the CEPEA/ESALQ – Paranaguá (PR) and CEPEA/ESALQ – Paraná indices rose 1,8% and 1,3%, respectively.
