Cepea, 16/06/2025 – Cepea surveys show corn prices continue to fall. According to the Center, favorable weather during second-crop development in Brazil is reinforcing expectations of a bumper crop for the 2024/25 season and, consequently, pressure on prices. Last week, Conab raised its harvest estimates. Brazilian output is projected at 128,25 million tonnes, 1,37 million tonnes above the May estimate. For the second crop, volume should reach 101 million tonnes, up from the 99,8 million tonnes reported in May, 12% above the previous season and also the second-largest crop in Conab's historical series.
